The Sims 3 team has decided to Exchange / Exchange on the official Sims 3 website a 'Culling Script' to build, which means that if the uploads you've put down there after 2 weeks is not enough Recommendations have been downloaded or are removed from the Exchange.
SimGuru Poptarts on American Forum has made a communication:
We've been receiving a lot of great content uploaded to our Exchange and Movies & More. To make sure the items stay fresh culling we've implemented a script that will remove older items. For those of you who are not familiar with culling - is when it uploads, Stories and Movies are automatically removed from the Exchange & More Movies and when they do not do well (not getting enough downloads and recommendations). The more you download and Recommends have, the better. Exchange uploads, Stories, Movies and will be subject to culling after 2 weeks if it does not do well. Searching for content will be easier with culling turned on and awesome uploads here will have more of a chance to shine.
If an item Exchange, Story, Movie or been Featured, it will never be culled.

I therefore encourage everyone to quickly backup your stuff so that you can upload them again once they are removed by this Culling System. Of them a free file share site to convert.
Also I understand that there is no communication on the homepage of the official Sims 3 sites but only somewhere in the U.S. Sims 3 forum. This seems to us like Simfans, often much time and energy stabbing in building homes - making recollers, stories - etc, a lot more important than an announcement on the domestic stock market that nothing at all to do with The Sims.
Hopefully that will quickly notice with information about when this is introduced and what it meant by sufficient Culling System Recommendations and downloads.
